meet our Feel Good team!
The Feel Good Project is a sister run company bringing our two worlds of food and fitness together to create weekends we are so passionate about. We work alongside our amazing friend Zoë who provides everything "wellness" for the weekend. Let's meet the team...

What is your role at The Feel Good Project?
I am responsible for feeding our guests over the weekend! I work with the seasons to plans menus that will fuel our guests and most importantly, I cook food that makes our guests feel good. Expect big colourful sharing plates full of flavour and nutrients. There’s no celery juice and plain chicken in my kitchen!
A bit more about Julia…
As well as The Feel Good project, I run my own business @foodwithjooj. I create bespoke, creative and colourful dinner parties and do everything from the cooking to the tablescapes. I LOVE eating and cooking outdoors and also collaborating with lots of another amazing female led businesses to bring fun and relaxed events with delicious food. Alongside this I work 3 days a week as a Marketing Manager for Land Rover Experience Scotland. A bit of a contrast from food to cars but I really enjoy it and I’m learning all the time!
What is your favourite part of the Feel Good Retreats?
Working with my sister and my best friend to create the happiest weekend. There’s nothing better that seeing people faces light up at the plates I put in front of them. I also love the prep, call me crazy but I love the moments of manic before the guests arrive and when the delirium kicks in when you’re washing the 175th dish of the weekend. But it’s worth every soggy tea towel to witness our guests in their happy place and the friendships form between them.

What is your role at The Feel Good Project?
I plan and run our fitness sessions over the weekends! I am passionate about people (particularly women) lifting weights so I always include some strength and conditioning; as well as some more different, fun sessions like boxing. Although not a yoga teacher, I LOVE a chilled out stretch and flow so like to do these to allow our guests to recover and relax. We are a small team so when I am not running the sessions I am running around daft either sous chefing for Jooj or getting set for the next exciting activity!
A bit more about Emma…
As well as The Feel Good project, I run my own Online Personal Training business EWC @emmawilliamscoaching in which I support people to feel strong and confident in their bodies in a chilled and super balanced way! Alongside this, I’m a PE teacher in a secondary school which is a lot of fun and where the passion has all started
What is your favourite part of the Feel Good Retreats?
It has to be the friendships, open conversations, good vibes and obvious endorphins FLYING HIGH at the end of the fitness sessions (and of course that post workout wine) Gals that sweat together… stay together!

our wellness gal
Zoe McNeill-Wilkie
What is your role at The Feel Good Project?
I am there to bring the nourishing, self-care vibes with offerings of either bespoke back, neck and shoulder massage or deeply relaxing reflexology. My sessions are safe spaces to be yourself; whether you feel called to open up and release feelings, or simply be still and soak up the benefits. I also do oracle card readings which are beautiful ways to create conversation and open the door for reflection
A bit more about Zoë…
As well as working with various massage therapies, I’m a personal trainer with a huge focus on confidence. I also work as a managing director at Noir. Media, a creative media agency in Glasgow. I’m always striving for the next thing… my newest adventure will hopefully be reiki, so keep your eyes peeled for this at future retreats!
What is your favourite part of the Feel Good Retreats?
My favourite aspect of the retreats is by far seeing everyone connect. Bonding over Jooj’s delicious food, encouraging each other during Emma’s sessions, and seeing new friendships blossom as everyone opens up throughout the weekend. It’s the best!
